Peter Coons
President, D4
Peter has nearly thirteen years of experience in the legal technology field. As President of D4, he is focused on managing day to day operations. Peter has experience in managing large scale electronic data collections relating to litigation, audits, or regulatory requests. He also has experience with media restoration, processing and production of electronic data, and various forensic and litigation support tools. He has testified as a computer forensic expert witness, and has been appointed by a Federal District Court as a neutral third party forensic examiner. He has personally participated in, or overseen the collection and imaging of thousands of computers and performed forensic analysis on hundreds of hard drives and other media. Prior to joining D4, Peter worked as a senior associate with Baker Robbins & Company, a technology consulting firm, where he was responsible for managing the digital forensics practice in New York City. Peter has also worked as the Operations Manager for a nationally recognized litigation support and electronic discovery vendor and at a national life insurance company as the Director of Systems for the Office of General Counsel. Peter is an EnCase Certified Examiner, a Certified Computer Examiner (computer forensic certificates) and is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), the professional organization for persons involved in computer forensics. Peter holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and he is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Bryan Foster
Vice President of Technology
Mr. Foster is the firm’s national expert in e-Discovery and large multi-location project management. He is also responsible for Ivize’s central data processing center in Charlotte, NC. As part of his client work, Mr. Foster is a member of the Electronic Discovery Response Team at a major multinational pharmaceutical company. He was also one of the founders of Ivize’s Chicago and New Orleans offices, where he had leadership roles in both sales and operations. Prior to joining Ivize, Mr. Foster was Director of Sales and Operations at Ikon. There, he was on the national rollout team for the Scan 2 File services, and was a mentor to six locations in the Midwest. Throughout his career at Ikon, he was also elected Sales Manager of the year once and Operations Manager of the year twice. Mr. Foster is a certified Summation trainer, and has extensive experience with most of the document management systems frequently used in the legal community. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Math and Engineering.

Brian Johns
Director of IVIZE Data Services
Mr. Johns came to IVIZE from Wachovia where he led e-Discovery collection efforts. He created process improvements and helped reduce risk in Wachovia's collection processes. Prior to Wachovia, Mr. Johns was with Bank of America where he managed the infrastructure team supporting e-Discovery and investigation processes. During his time with Bank of America he worked with leading vendors to create a robust architecture of servers and SAN storage for collection, processing and hosting efforts within the bank. Mr. Johns also worked on projects involving Ecommerce and Data Center security. His other experience includes worldwide infrastructure support for a leading consumer electronics company as well as a software development company. Mr. Johns earned an MBA from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina as well as a BA in Communications from the College of Charleston. He holds a CISSP certification as well as a MCP and CCNA.
